I can never miss an episode of Snapped!

Thanks for the post from Hal Potter

If you are like me and like true crime shows, I suggest you check out Snapped! on the Oxygen Channel. You will not be able to get up off the couch! Snapped! is a true crime tv show with a twist. All of the so called guilty people are all female! You would not believe what these women will go through to get revenge. Some are just outright crazy.

I like watching this show on my satellite TV channels in Arizona. It comes on various times throughout the week. I can’t give you the days and times because they do vary. The tv show usually comes down to the title of the show. These women usually come to a breaking point where they basically snap. Some topics are the infamous cheating boyfriend or husband and the wife or girlfriend ends up killing him or fatal attraction type scenes. Other scenarios are where women kill other women for their unborn child or women who kill their families for money. When I sit down for this tv show, I’m glued to the tv for the whole hour!

If you have the Oxygen Channel, I suggest you watch an episode or two. If you are anything like me, you will be addicted to the show and will be wondering when the next show will air!

Celebrity Fit Club 7

There aren’t many reality shows that I’ll watch, but I’m hooked on the latest season of Celebrity Fit Club. Season 7 has a boot camp theme and features Sebastian Bach, Kevin Federline, Bobby Brown, Nicole Eggert, Shar Jackson, Tanisha Thomas, KayCee Stroh, and Jay McCarroll. I’ve never heard of a few of these people, and one of them is from another reality show called The Bad Girls Club, so I wouldn’t really consider her a celebrity.

I’ve always been a fan of the band Skid Row, so I’m rooting for Sabastian Bach. I admit that the only things I know about Kevin Federline are the things that are printed in tabloids or on the E! Channel. Since these don’t tend to be reliable sources, I’m going by what I’ve seen of him on the show so far, and I’m rooting for his as well. I also hope for the best for Shar Jackson (Kevin’s Ex), because she seems to be a nice person who’s caught in an awkward situation. Maybe this show will turn out to be a good thing for both of them.

These shows usually need at least one person to provide a little drama, and Bobby Brown seems to be that person. I’ve never been a fan of his music, and this show hasn’t done anything to improve his image so far. Who knows, maybe he’ll be the biggest improvement of the season, since this show usually has one success story of this type.

Reality shows are anything but reality, but for some reason, I can’t stop watching this show, and I’m looking forward to next week’s episode.

Cash Cab

Cash Cab is a show on the Discovery Channel that gives people the opportunity to win money while being driven to their destination. Unsuspecting people hail a cab assuming they are entering a normal cab. Upon entry, they are greeted by the host (driver), Ben Bailey. He informs them of the rules, and if they agree to play, the game begins as soon as they enter traffic. Easy questions at the beginning are worth $25, and they  gradually increase in difficulty. Harder questions are worth $50 and $100. Contestants are given the opportunity to use 2 “shout outs” if they don’t know the answer. They can call a friend or pull over and ask someone on the street. They are allowed to miss two questions, but three strikes and they must get out of the cab at that location.

My question is this: If a stranger approached you and needed your help to win money on a game show, and you knew the correct answer, would you tell them even if there was nothing in it for you? If you were the contestant winning the money, would you offer the stranger a share of your winnings? If you called a friend or family member for help, would you share the money with them? Would you expect them to share it with you if they were the contestant?

Check out these great used cars!
